Frequently Asked Questions
1. What do the courses consist of?
It depends. We offer a lively mix of classroom learning, hands-on activities, and spoken-word tasks. But we also teach etiquette and protocol through dancing or dining — just to give a few examples. So it depends on the age group and the purpose of the learning. We also tailor our courses for specific needs, with courses for one individual or groups of children, teens, young adults, or adults.
2. How much does it cost?
Our fees vary according to your needs and aspirations. If desired, we will tailor a specific package or program to meet your objectives in accordance with your financial resources. Other cost considerations include travel; we will provide training at your site if desired.
3. Why should my children or I take your training?
The answer is different and personal for everyone, but we can safely say that graduates of Diana Academy of Etiquette & Protocol will find themselves more confident, assured, poised, and professional. Let’s put it this way: whether you are young or old, you will be more of a leader than when you walked in the door. You will have more of a presence, which translates to social grace and power.
4. How can I use this training? How practical is it?
The day-to-day benefits are concrete and real. You can use it at school, in family situations, on the playground, or in job interviews. Or you can enhance your skill in meeting strangers, closing deals, or improving personal relationships. There are as many applications as there are social situations in any given day. Our training also provides tools for reducing youth violence and improving workplace culture.
5. What qualifies you as a consultant? What makes Diana Academy of Etiquette & Protocol the right place to learn this training?
Diana H. Carmi is certified in Business Etiquette and International Protocol by the premier trainer in the field, the Protocol School of Washington®. This training is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education. She also is a children’s etiquette consultant, certified by the acclaimed Etiquette & Leadership Institute in Georgia. Her background and international travel experience add to her portfolio of qualifications. Moreover, she brings an infectious enthusiasm and heartfelt passion to her teaching.
It is worth noting that the Diana Academy of Etiquette & Protocol educational resources are not limited to one person. We frequently call upon experts in business and technology to supplement training.
6. Is it stuffy and boring?
Not at all! We have fun while achieving serious skills. And we learn to laugh at our own foibles on the way to learning a new way to engage life.
7. What types of clients do you have?
Our clients vary widely, from individuals to organizations. They include educators, community groups and associations, companies, students from preschool through college, sports teams, restaurants, country clubs, and families.
